During the AGENCY Project’s Smart Homes Workshop held at Newcastle University on 18 November 2022, Dr Cristina Neesham (Associate Dean ERS, Newcastle University Business School) presented on “How the smart home industry can address and realise their responsibilities” and on “Responsible Innovation”. Her presentations discussed ethical and societal challenges of smart technologies, policy options, and key principles of the Responsible Research and Innovation Framework as applicable to smart homes.
